We understand that plans can change. While SYNC registrations are non-refundable, we offer the following options to help you move forward.

OPTION #1:PURCHASE PROTECTION

If you opted in and paid for Purchase Protection, contact the Purchase Protection provider first to review what is covered and how to submit a claim. You should have received a separate receipt containing their contact information. You may also use the following links to review their Terms or file a claim.


OPTION #2:SELL YOUR TICKET    
Step 1:

Complete the Registration Transfer Form to let SYNC know you intend to sell your registration. This allows us to document your request and begin the transfer process once you have a buyer.

SYNC does not guarantee or take responsibility for finding a buyer, but we will provide resources you may use to share your available registration.

ALREADY HAVE A BUYER? Complete the Registration Transfer Form once and include your buyer's information. SYNC will review the request and email both of you with the next steps.

DON'T HAVE A BUYER YET? Complete the Registration Transfer Form with your information, then follow the steps below.
Step 2:Share that your registration is available in:
  • SYNC Circle
  • The SYNCwithFriends Facebook Group
  • Your own photography network or other groups where posting is permitted.
Step 3:Once you find a buyer, return to the Registration Transfer Form and complete a new submission with the buyer's information. Do not collect payment directly from the buyer. The buyer must pay SYNC, and SYNC will issue your refund after the transfer is completed. SYNC will email both parties with next steps.

Key Registration Transfer Rules
The following highlights some of the most important Registration Transfer rules. We recommend reviewing the complete Registration Transfer Policies, Terms & Requirements before submitting your request or sharing your ticket price with a potential buyer.

  • All registration transfers must be approved and processed through SYNC. The buyer pays SYNC, and SYNC issues the seller's refund.
  • Only the SYNC Main Event Registration may be sold. Add-ons, classes, passes, meals, Purchase Protection, and other additional purchases are not eligible for transfer.
  • A $50 Registration Transfer Processing Fee will be deducted from the seller's refund.
  • Promotional codes, coupons, and other discounts do not automatically transfer to the buyer. Any approved price difference may affect the seller's final refund.
