OPTIONS AND NEXT STEPS

If you've reached this page, we understand that an unforeseen circumstance has arisen, prompting you to request the sale of your SYNC Main Event Registration. While we're disappointed that you won't be able to join us for the upcoming SYNC event, we recognize that life can be unpredictable. As outlined in the registration terms, cancellations are non-refundable and non-transferable. However, we do offer the following alternatives.

OPTION #1:PURCHASE PROTECTION

If you opted in and paid for Purchase Protection you should first contact them directly about what's covered and how to submit a claim. You should have received a separate receipt for your Purchase Protection payment that should have their contact information. Here is their website where you can view their Terms as well as file a claim.


OPTION #2:SELL YOUR TICKET    
Step 1:

Completing this form is the first essential step in the process of selling your ticket. This ensures that all requests are centralized for tracking purposes, allows SYNC to be aware of your intent to sell, and helps us coordinate efforts in connecting you with potential buyers who have expressed interest in registering. Please not that while SYNC is not responsible for selling your ticket, we are committed to providing assistance and resources to support you.

*IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A BUYER FOR YOUR TICKET, you only need to complete this form once. Please ensure that the buyer's information is included when submitting the form to initiate the approval process. SYNC will send an email to both parties confirming receipt of the transfer request, approval, and outlining the next steps to finalize the transfer.

*IF YOU DO NOT YET HAVE A BUYER FOR YOUR TICKET, please proceed to Steps 2 and 3 AFTER completing Step 1.
Step 2:AFTER completing this form, please post in the SYNCwithFriends Facebook group and SYNC Circle to let others know your ticket is available.  We also encourage you to spread the word among your photography friends through conversations, emails or texts, and share the information in other social groups you are a part of, with permission of course.
Step 3:Once you have someone interested in purchasing your ticket do the following:
a) Come back to this form and fill out a NEW submission that will include... (see step b)
b) Include the buyer's information in the form. DO NOT COLLECT MONEY FROM YOUR BUYER. THEY MUST PAY SYNC and SYNC WILL REFUND YOU*.

Once SYNC receives your form WITH your buyer's information, the transfer approval process will be initiated. SYNC will then email both you and the buyer to confirm receipt of the transfer request, approval and outline the next steps to finalize the transfer.

This lists the most commonly asked questions about selling and transferring a SYNC Registration. We strongly recommend reading the FULL TERMS before deciding on the price at which you'll sell your ticket.

  • All tickets being sold must be approved by SYNC and processed through the SYNC Transfer System including all payments (from the buyer) and refunds (to the seller)
  • ONLY THE MAIN EVENT REGISTRATION can be sold. Add-on classes or any other extra purchases may not be sold or transferred. No exceptions.
  • *There is a $50 transfer fee that will be deducted from the refund amount to the seller. For example, if you sell your ticket for $599, once the buyer completes their registration with payment to SYNC, you will receive a refund from SYNC for $599 less $50 transfer fee for a total refund of $549.
  • *NO promotions, coupons, or discounts will be processed for the buyer when selling your ticket. For example, if you signed up during the 5-Day Sale or used a special promo code offered throughout the year by SYNC, a vendor, or a friend in the SYNCwithFriends Referral Program, that discount will not be forwarded to the buyer of your ticket. These were limited time offers that were made available to you for registering during that time-frame and have expired. If you choose to pass along the promotional savings it will be deducted from your refund amount in addition to the transfer fee of $50. When communicating with your buyer how much you are selling your ticket for make sure you communicate the appropriate amount to avoid additional fees.
