OPTIONS AND NEXT STEPS

If you are visiting this page then something unexpected has come up and you are requesting to sell your SYNC ticket. We are sorry to hear that you will not be able to join us for SYNC this year but we understand that life happens which is why we offer a couple of options. As agreed upon in the terms when registering for SYNC, there are no refunds or free transfers for cancellations. However we do have the following options.

OPTION #1: If you opted in and paid for Purchase Protection you should first contact them directly about what's covered and how to submit a claim. You should have received a separate receipt for your Purchase Protection payment that should have their contact information. Here is their website where you can view their Terms as well as file a Claim. 

OPTION #2: Sell your ticket.
    Step 1: It's required for you to complete this form to notify us of your need to sell your ticket. This is an important first
step so that any and all requests are gathered in the same place for SYNC to track. This allows us to help
coordinate efforts in connecting you with anyone that we may know of who is looking for a ticket. NOTE: It is not
    SYNC's responsibility to sell your ticket but we will do everything we can to assist you with resources.

    *IF YOU HAVE SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO BUY YOUR TICKET, YOU ONLY NEED TO COMPLETE
     THIS FORM ONCE. BE SURE TO INCLUDE THE BUYER'S INFORMATION WHEN COMPLETING IT. 

    *IF YOU DO NOT HAVE SOMEONE READY TO BUY YOUR TICKET, MOVE ON TO STEP 2 AFTER
     COMPLETING STEP 1.

    Step 2: AFTER completing this form you should post in the SYNCwithFriends Facebook group under the OFFICIAL 
    SYNC 2024 TICKET RE-SELL POST that you are selling your ticket (the post will be pinned in the FEATURED TAB).
We also encourage you to share with your photography friends verbally, via email or text, and post anywhere there may
be interest including other social groups you are a member of-with permission of course.

    Step 3: Once you have someone interested in buying your ticket, COME BACK TO THIS FORM AND COMPLETE IT 
    AGAIN with updated information about who you are selling your ticket to which will get the transfer approval
    process started and finalized. 


IMPORTANT:
*READ THE TERMS BEFORE SUBMITTING THIS FORM AND POSTING HOW MUCH YOU ARE SELLING YOUR TICKET FOR. Details are listed in the Terms on this form and can be found on the SYNC website under Attendee Accounts & Tickets.

Summary of Terms (Click for complete TERMS):
*All tickets being sold must be approved by SYNC and processed through our system including all payments (from the buyer) and refunds (to the seller).
*There is a $30 transfer fee that will be deducted from the refund amount to the seller. For example if you sell your ticket for $599, once the buyer completes their registration with payment, you will receive a refund from SYNC for $599 less $30 transfer fee for a total refund of $569.
*You are refunded the amount that you sold your registration pass for less a $30 transfer fee and any discount fees that you passed along. Discount fees (i.e. special promos, sales, SYNCwithFriends Referrals, or a lesser amount that you are willing to sell your ticket for, etc.) will be deducted from the amount ticket is sold for.
*NO promotions, coupons, or discounts will be processed for the buyer when selling your ticket. For example if you signed up during the 5-Day Sale or used a special promo code offered throughout the year by SYNC, a vendor, or a friend in the SYNCwithFriends Referral Program, that discount will not be forwarded to the buyer of your ticket. These were limited time benefits that were made available to you for registering during that time-frame and have essentially expired. If you choose to pass along the promotional savings it will be deducted from your refund amount in addition to the transfer fee of $30. When listing how much you are selling your ticket for in the SYNCwithFriends Group make sure you list the appropriate amount to avoid additional fees.
*As a reminder, ONLY MAIN EVENT REGISTRATION TICKETS can be sold. Jump Start classes or any other extra purchases may not be sold or transferred. No exceptions. More details can be found on the SYNC website under Attendee Accounts & Tickets.
